Personality:
Likes: Mysteries/problem solving, new experiences, talking with people/making new friends, yoga/gymnastics, tai chi, running, tea, loose/flexible clothing, cheesy-romance novels (but not cheesy romance movies), the ocean, sunny days, hiking
Dislikes: Sushi, math, metal music, mornings (She calls them “The 3 M’s”), going without breakfast
Fears: Lightening (childhood experience), her dad receiving some of the backlash for her being a mutant, being alone

Overall Personality:
Open and friendly, Adele is quite the social butterfly and likes making people smile. The meanest you will ever see Adele is in the morning before she eats breakfast or when she goes without. It can almost be likened to a Jekyll/Hide sort of personality, as her patience will be considerably shorter and and she will not pull punches when it comes to verbal lashings. Mornings aside, Adele is very much a people pleaser, but minus the low self esteem. She simply enjoys seeing others smile.

History:
Adele has always been exceptionally bright when it comes to problem solving. Raised by her single-father, a high school science teacher and former hippie (though he referred to himself as “Bohemian”), he instilled a great love of science and art in Adele at an early age. Unwilling to be the father who never had time for his daughter, “Mr. Al” often brought a young Adele to class on school field trips, teaching her alongside his students.

Summer vacation was often spent traveling with Mr. Al, hiking in national parks, picnics at rest stops during road trips, and visiting art museums. Adele would never change a thing.

Soon after a professor of the X-Institute contacted the Albrittons, Mr. Al enthusiastically (but also reluctantly) sent his daughter off so that she might better develop her powers for the greater good. Adele dearly misses her dad, but writes him a letter weekly (she prefers a hand written letter to email, any day).


Extras:
- Adele has never met her mom, though tests have proved she is her father’s daughter.
- Adele has always had a small electric current running through her body. This has made her rather active and kept her metabolism very high. However, when she’s feeling stressed it tends to kick up a notch, effecting nearby electronic sources or giving out a nasty static shock when people touch her. Adele will often try to work out her stress via physical activities when this happens.
- She has two cuffs and two lobe piercings on her right ear, and three cuffs and three lobe piercings on her left.
- Like any 'good' high school student, Adele has been to plenty of parties. While she hates beer, she loves taking shots and playing drinking games.
- Adele and her father are from Fayetteville, Arkansas.
- Outside of the school, the only ones aware of Adele's mutation right now are her father and her online buddy (who she only told because of neither of them know who the other is in real life)
- She has a constellation tattoo of her zodiac sign (cancer) on the right side of her back.
